Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania, received her master's degree at the University of Miami. Her professional journey began as a video producer at CBS Sports in New York City. She won the Sports Emmy while working at WTVJ-TV Miami. Her previous jobs include WPLG-TV Miami (and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach).
